These limited edition digital prints are created using the highest quality archival papers and inks (inks have a colour fast life of 70 – 150 years, depending on light and pollutant exposure). Printed on Hahnemuhle fine art A3 paper, one of the finest digital print papers produced, the images have a colour intensity and detail that will enhance any room and bring years of pleasure.

These original prints are created by focusing on very small areas found in a number of the artist’s larger oil paintings. The images are captured and developed through processes that explore and enhance colour and texture, discovering new worlds and abstract forms that exist in the smallest details of much larger works. Many of these images hint at the natural world, organic material, crystalline structures, light, atmosphere and weather, as well as entirely new landscapes.

As the images originate from Yeats’ oil paintings, they bring with them the brush-strokes, mark-making and textures that are inherent in that oil painting. This textural element brings animation and depth to the images as well as creating highly detailed, rich and colourful surfaces.

The images exist only in print form and are designed specifically for this purpose – there is no original painting that exists in the same form as the print – the images are not reproductions of paintings but complete, unique works in their own right.

Each print edition is limited to 150 copies and is numbered and signed by the artist. This serves as the mark of authentication. After 150 copies have been produced, the digital master will be destroyed and no more prints from that master will be produced. This ensures that the print-run and individual prints are unique.
